MUNICIPALIDAD DE IGLESIA -SAN JUAN- ARGENTINA

The Municipality of Iglesia is located in the northwest of San Juan Province, Argentina, where the Veladero Mine (gold and silver) is in operation, being the largest mine in the country. Additionally, the Josemaría project (copper) is in the pre-construction stage, and several other mining projects are in the exploration phase. The mining industry is an important source of economic resources in Iglesia.
