Additional Comments

  • Sirven is an extensive and voluminous deposit of superficial uranium and vanadium, of low grade but easy to concentrate and extract by conventional mechanical methods, at very low cost. Uranium and vanadium ores are found very close to the surface, less than a meter deep.
  • The mineral occurs within a poorly consolidated sandy and gravelly material.
  • The main anomalies detected are between 500 and 700 ppm of U3O8 and 400 to 600 ppm of V2O5.
  • Preliminary regional estimates indicate that the project could have reserves between 8 and 10 Mlb @ 60-80 ppm of U3O8 and more than 50 Mlb @ 500 ppm of V2O5.
  • This summer, important field work will be carried out, advancing with exploration, with the objective of defining 4,500 tons of uranium for the next 2 years.
  • Sirven will allow Argentina to be supplied with uranium for more than 20 years
