Mineral is extracted from an open pit (Filo Federico) Equipment includes shovels, a truck fleet, drilling machines, front loader machines and an important fleet of auxiliary equipment.
Crushing/Heap Leach/Merrill Crowe/Refinery: the crushed ore is conveyed and truck hauled to the leach pad; Gold and silver values are recovered from process solution by zinc precipitation (the final product is a dore bar)
