The Salta Government has given the green light for the construction of a photovoltaic plant at Lindero Mine, endorsing the use of more sustainable energy sources in mining activities. This installation will generate 6 MW, thereby meeting a portion of the energy needs required for the industrial operations of the gold project.

The only mining initiative in Jujuy with local investment began two years ago, exploiting copper for export while progressing towards alluvial gold production.
